At the end of 2023, I redesign the brand identity of a company named Blocksi.
Blocksi is a US, France and Slovenia-based EdTech that company provides a complete K-12 school student safety solution, combined with content filtering and classroom management system. Their advanced solutions serve several school districts around the globe, but mostly US-based schools.
Logo design and brand identity system
While designing some merchandise for the marketing team, I designed a motif for a T-shirt that raised a lot of attention on trade shows from the visitors’ side, so the CEO decided this should be the company’s new logo. It better reflected the company’s brand identity (the story behind the company’s mission and vision). My work includes:
- Logo design
- Brand identity design system
- Guide and plan the redesign transition on numerous internal and external channels
- Aligning the whole 60+ people team and handoff of pre-defined templates and graphics for further use
The logo itself represents two hands, facing upward to an open book, which reflects the mission and vision to keep students safe in their learning environment.

During a few months, we’ve managed to execute all the transition from the old logo to creation of new repositories and a design system so that the new identity usage could be consistent.
I also created clear guidelines for logo usage, color usage, positioning of the logo, and much more.

Hand in hand after the logo redesign, we also had to redesign all the marketing materials. This included social media imagery, email campaign images, website graphics and much more. And we had to have in mind that we are targeting different personas on different parts of the world, in different stages of their awareness about the company.

While designing merchandise, I also designed a 20×20 sized booth for trade shows. This project took a month of creating mockups, communicating with contractors, designing and refining. And the booth is still carried around the globe, presenting the company’s solutions in the US, Brasil, UK, and trade shows in other countries.

Although I love working on web apps, mobile apps and websites, it’s always a joy to create something physical, like promotional material that people carry at home, a T-shirt that people wear, or a booth employees gladly spend their days in during the trade show.
